In the days since George Zimmerman’s murder of Trayvon Martin, we’ve learned a lot more about the man behind the shooting of an unarmed 17-year-old, whose only crime was was being Black and carrying a bag of Skittles and an Arizona iced tea through the gated Florida community where he was visiting relatives.
We now know that Zimmerman made at least 46 calls–a bunch of false alarms–to 911 in the months leading up to his murder of Trayvon. Axiom Amnesia has discovered audio of some of these calls, and we wanted to share them with you. We don’t even need to tell you that the vast majority of people Zimmerman called 911 on were African American.
Notice that Zimmerman always refuses to give his own address, meanwhile questioning people he finds suspicious. We wondered what role, if any, Zimmerman’s wife played in his kiddie cop pursuits, and we now see that she is complicit in it. Her voice can be heard among Zimmerman’s 911 calls below.
Call 1-Zimmerman Reports Black Male Matching Robbery Description
In this recording Zimmerman claims that his “neighborhood got burglarized today,” that his wife saw a house burglarized in their neighborhood, and she now sees someone who fit the description of a burglar. You can also hear a female in the background, presumably his wife, who is giving additional details.

Call 2-Zimmerman Reports Two Black Youths
In this 911 call, Zimmerman reports two Black males he says match the description of robbery suspects. He directs the police to also search the next neighborhood over, because “they typically run away quickly”:

This is a call to 911 where Zimmerman reports “two suspicious characters” who just happen to be Black males he accuses of loitering in “his neighborhood”:

In this 911 call Zimmerman reports a Black male who “keeps going to this guy’s house” and mentions that he’s seen the guy and knows the “Caucasian” man who lives there. He basically says that he doesn’t know what the guy is doing. He even has the nerve to try and instruct the officers on where they should park and approach the “subject”:

In this 911 Call Zimmerman calls to report an open garage door. He refers to a neighborhood watch meeting where the officer told them to report anything suspicious. Could it be that the neighbor just left the door open on accident? Why not knock on the door and check with the residents before playing kiddie cop?

Call 6-Zimmerman Reports Kids Playing In The Street
In this call, Zimmerman calls 911 to report kids who “habitually” play in the street. He reports that the group of kids are of different races. Kids playing in the street in front of their homes in a subdivision that doesn’t have thru traffic is a common occurrence. Was this really a police emergency? And of course, he requests to remain anonymous!
